Real estate sales and services come natural to me in that I spent many years satisfying clients in many facets of the hospitality industry. It’s a combination of natural instinct and a well-trained eye that makes a professional successful in the service industry. Real estate is no different. My clients demand a high level of service, professionalism, and loyalty from me as I am entrusted in their greatest asset: their home. Originally from Durham, North Carolina I started at age 13 running the local pool concession and I’ve been successful in the many jobs I’ve had in the hospitality industry. I first came to Hilton Head after graduating from Johnson and Wales University with a Culinary Arts degree. By 1999 I was the Food and Beverage Director of the Daufuskie Island Club and Resort. In 2004 I married my wife Sandy and we knew Hilton Head Island is the greatest place we could ever think of to live, work, and raise a family. We now have a son named Connor, daughter Christina and the office mascot dog named Stella! Always having an entrepreneurial spirit, I became a Real Estate agent in 2003 and in 2006 I developed my own property management company. We manage over 35 of some of the island’s most premiere properties. Over the years we have worked to help clients to improve and remodel many properties. In real estate I have become a well-known and respected practitioner in the resort real estate market. This respect and support is what gave me the opportunity to open my own Brokerage. In 2019 I decided to put all our operations under one roof. We are now Luxury Homes of Hilton Head specializing in sales, rentals, interior design, and asset management for absentee owners. I’m a Realtor here on Hilton Head Island. I moved to Sea Pines after owning a villa here that I had on the rental market. It’s a decision my wife and I have not regretted one second. Life is great here on Hilton Head.

Watching home improvement shows is a favorite past-time and the entire process of seeing a property get a much-needed facelift or a complete gut-job is very intriguing. The final reveals are the perfect example of what hard work, innovation and imagination can create. I spent the past 35 years in the health care field, starting as an athletic trainer at Washington State University and the University of Northern Colorado. After completing a master’s degree in Education and Sports Medicine I first taught high school, then became a surgeon’s assistant in orthopedics and trauma then more recently back to teaching surgical technology at a local college. Throughout my career in health care, I never lost my passion for real estate. When the opportunity presented itself, I got my SC real estate license.
